Every year, our students put together a degree show to exhibit their final-year projects to the public, trade professionals, potential employers and the media. Meet Lucy
Lucy Hughes, Product Design BSc graduate, won the International James Dyson Award 2019 with MarinaTex, a single-use plastic alternative made from waste materials from the fishing industry. Lucy developed the biodegradable material for the final-year project of her degree and is now working on its commercialisation.
